Middle School Connections

Middle School Connections 2011-2012

Middle School Connection Program is a collaborative effort involving Puertas Abiertas Community Resource Center and CyberMill Technology Center.

Session 1 was a great success and served fifteen families! 

Session 2 is scheduled from March 6, 2012 to April 20, 2012.

Middle School Connections 2010-2011

As 2011 comes to a close, it is with a great sense of accomplishment that we share the following results from last year’s Middle School Connection Program, a collaborative effort involving:

Puertas Abiertas Community Resource Center, Community Resources for Children, Cope Family Center and CyberMill Technology Center.

This collaborative program served:

117 students; 85% Hispanic/Latino; students trained by CyberMill.

134 parents (84% Hispanic/Latino)

  • 57 parents trained by Puertas Abiertas, Community Resources for Children, Cope Family Center.
  • 77 parents trained by CyberMill, Community Resources for Children and Cope Family Center.

103 Pentium 4 computers fully loaded with MS Office and 20 educational games  were sent home

with participating families.
