Stop Motion Animation

“This summer at CyberMill was the best yet!” said Jeremiah to his Grandmother.
Inspired by the poetry of Kenn Nesbitt and Shel Silverstein, student-campers created sets and characters to bring a story to life in a stop motion animated video. Creative ideas took shape through construction paper, pipe cleaners, play doh, scrabble pieces and poker chips. Campers learned to take pictures, use movie editing software to add effects, titles, music and narration to their final project. At the end of the week, campers were inspired and challenged as they carted their sets home to make a sequel!
